MEET SAM

I was born in Chennai India, but grew up in Thailand, China, Singapore, Switzerland, and now live in The United States. Having an international upbringing has shaped my personal and professional ambitions greatly. It has given me a deep curiosity about how different individuals and communities think, what they value, and how they act. I aspire to be an International / Diplomatic Correspondent, shedding light on people, stories, and policies that otherwise might go unseen and unheard. I speak fluent English, intermediate Tamil and Chinese, as well as basic French and Malayalam. I hope to continue to expand my linguistic skills to bolster my career by learning Arabic in the future.
